"Finding Foster" - Lucy Skellorn
National Collection holder Lucy Skellorn discusses how she came to form a collection of irises bred by her great- great -grandfather, Sir Michael Foster "the father of iris breeding".
Lucy trained in fine art and is a researcher for the Benton End House and Garden Trust, a subsidiary charity of the Garden Museum who recently acquired Benton End in Hadleigh, the former home of artist-plantsman and Iris-breeder, Sir Cedric Morris. If you love irises and art this should be a fascinating talk.
Entry £2.50 for members, £5 for non-members.
