The business of the AGM doesn't take long, so will be followed by a talk on “Skymeadow” by Charlie Hart
Charlie was born in this area and after studying theology at Cambridge and working in London he has returned to Suffolk with his young family. He is now a gardener, author and journalist who writes and speaks about the way in which gardens and nature can rest the mind and heal the soul. He has recently published his book 'Skymeadow' about building his garden and how it has helped him come to terms with the death of his parents. In 2016 he worked on the award winning Chelsea Flower Show garden based on the theme of modern slavery, a subject that he has been involved with for some time. This should be a fascinating and inspiring talk.
